Independent Research

In addition to our own research, we also host independent researchers from around the world. Scientists, students and professors find a supportive environment to deepen their understanding on topics such as ecosystem functioning, natural resource management and sustainable communities. Over the years we have hosted research in areas such as ecosystem ecology, agroforestry, water quality, biodiversity and rural development. This exchange of knowledge strengthens collaborative science and generates positive impacts for the Atlantic Forest and local communities.
