Young Ecoleaders
Developed over many years in partnership with local schools, “Young Ecoleaders” is a six-month program that empowers teenagers and young people to become leaders and changemakers in their communities. Its participatory methodology integrates science, culture, and traditional knowledge, fostering critical thinking, leadership and a strong sense of belonging to their forest environment. In addition to strengthening this relationship, the program is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially those related to quality education (SDG 4), climate action (SDG 13) and life on land (SDG 15). Each cohort of students participates in an immersive experience that connects theory, practice and purpose, awakening their potential and inspiring active, sustainable citizenship.
